General - Information We Collect and Why
In order to provide a high-quality service, we collect various types of information when you visit through our website and webpages located at secure.usemanifest.com and www.usemanifest.com, or our application via your phone, desktop, or laptop.
Visitor Information
We collect various types of anonymous information about visitors to our website, webpages, and/or mobile application, such as device-related information (including browser type and IP address) and server log information (including the date and time of day of your visit, average time spent on our site, browsing activity, and any site that referred you to us). We also collect information that you input into our application, e.g., by beginning the account application process. When you choose to create an account with us, we will collect certain personal information from you, including, but not limited to, your full name, date of birth, address, email, phone number, social security number, marital status, citizenship status, investment preferences, retirement account login and related information, and retirement plan information. Reasons for our interest and our collection of such information are primarily to facilitate the seamless transfer of your retirement account(s) between service providers, as well as for communication, identity verification, and providing advice on the proper target account to transfer.
We are required by law and by our operation to collect this information to provide you the Content and the Service. If you do not wish to provide this information, you cannot become our user.
Third Party Information Collection
When you access our Content and use certain Service, we may collect your usernames, passwords, account numbers, and other account information for third-party websites and Internet banking services. We also collect account information from you when you link your accounts through our application. This information is used to obtain your account, transaction, and other banking information from the relevant financial institution on your behalf in order to display the information to you or to fulfill your requests for certain products, services, or transactions through a Service.
We use third-party service providers, such as Plaid, Inc. (”Plaid), to collect, verify and/or confirm your bank account transaction data from your accounts on your behalf. Your transaction data is transmitted securely with encryption from transport layer security (TLS) and stored on our servers, where your transaction descriptions are secured with 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. Information shared with Plaid and stored by Plaid is treated by Plaid in accordance with its privacy policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy.
Other Ways We Collect Information
Apart from the account opening process and from visitors to the site, we may collect various other types of personal information if you engage with us. We may also collect personal information if you enter it into our live chat program or contact us, or otherwise give it to us (e.g., in an email, phone call, or live chat with a member of our user support team). Further, we may collect information regarding your browsing activity when you visit our websites, webpages, and mobile applications, and actions you take within your account with us while logged in.
Cookies and Pixels

We also may disclose information about you if necessary to determine your eligibility to recover compensation in connection with class action lawsuits.

In order to provide our Content and Service, we may exchange any information received in connection with such Content or Service with the employers, service providers, or other professionals they may authorize. For example, your transaction data is transmitted securely with encryption from TLS and stored on our servers, where your transaction descriptions are secured with 256-bit AES encryption. We limit access to your personal and financial information to only those Company employees with authorized access who need to know the information in order to perform their jobs.
Furthermore, if you choose to close your account or your account is terminated with us, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policy and practices outlined here. If you maintain an account with us that you access through our website or mobile apps, you are responsible for protecting and maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and restricting access to your computer. How You Can Access or Change Your Personal Information That We Have Collected

Due to regulatory requirements, we do not delete residual copies of outdated information and must preserve all user data for a minimum of three (3) years or in accordance with the duration as prescribed by the relevant rules or regulations.
